You’re Invited To Apply for ACUE Course: Fostering a Culture of Belonging
Dear staff colleagues,
The educational development course Fostering a Culture of Belonging will be offered from Sept. 9 to Nov. 10. The course, offered by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), is designed for all campus personnel in teaching or nonteaching roles — faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students.
Through an engaging learning design and guided by experts, participants will learn practices that can be implemented immediately. These evidence-based practices increase student retention and strengthen belonging and achievement. ACUE’s courses are consistently rated as engaging and relevant by faculty and staff nationwide. The courses lead to the only nationally recognized Certificate in Effective Teaching Practice Framework, endorsed by the American Council on Education.
For more information or to apply, please visit the ACUE application portal. The system will provide you with a verification code to log in. Apply before Aug. 26.
If you have any questions, contact me or the Center for Teaching and Learning.
Best wishes,
