Are you integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into your course assignments or considering doing so? In this session, we’ll explore the ethical frameworks and practical applications outlined in “AI-U/v1.0,” a new student guide to artificial intelligence from the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and Elon University. This guide provides essential ground rules for using AI in the classroom, outlines ethical standards for responsible AI use and offers practical suggestions on how students can effectively incorporate AI into their learning. Whether your goal is to use AI as a teaching tool or to prepare students for an AI-driven workforce, you’ll be more equipped to guide your students effectively and responsibly into the future.

Faculty, staff, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are welcome to join.

Participating in the session may fulfill part of the requirements for the Graduate Teaching Certificate and Postdoctoral Teaching Certificate programs.
